Kristin Dial, Chief Executive Officer

Kristin Dial is a 2009 graduate from Marshall University with a Master of Science in Health Care Administration and a 2002 graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Sciences. She became an Registered Nurse in 2005 from SWVCTC.    Mrs. Dial is the first executive director since the inception of Coalfield.  Mrs. Dial is an active member of the West Virginia Rural Health Association, West Virginia Primary Care Association, the Logan County Chamber of Commerce, Partner’s in Health, and the Logan Healthcare Foundation. Mrs. Dial is a founding member of the Wild Wonderful and Healthy Logan County initiative which is a collaborative of Logan County entities implementing a community health plan to create a healthy workforce and increase economic development in their rural community.

 

Sarah Vance, Chief Operating Officer

Sarah Vance is a 2009 graduate from University of Phoenix with a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration and Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.  Mrs. Vance joined Coalfield Health   in 2021 and brings more than 25 years of healthcare experience to Coalfield.  Mrs. Vance is responsible for operations management and is committed to continued quality care.

 

Medical Providers

 

Dr. Jon Bowen

Dr. Jon Bowen is a 2005 graduate of Marshall University Medical School and a 2008 graduate of Marshall University Family Practice Residency. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice. Dr. Bowen joined staff in 2011. Presently, Dr. Bowen medical director of Coalfield Health   and has interests in Rural Health and Sports Medicine. Dr. Bowen sees patients from infant to elderly and offers a unique home visit service for his homebound patients.  Dr. Bowen volunteers his time to local high school football programs in addition to mentoring medical students from many state universities and across all curriculums.

 

Dr. James Walker

Dr. James Walker is a 1980 graduate of West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Flint Osteopathic Hospital in Flint, Michigan. He is board certified by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. Dr. Walker is joining staff in April 2020. Dr. Walker has a long history of primary care throughout Southern West Virginia.  Dr. Walker is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association, West Virginia Osteopathic Medical Association, West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine Alumni Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.  Dr. Walker sees patients from teens to elderly and offers home visit service for his homebound patients.  Dr. Walker will mentor medical students from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine upon joining Coalfield Health  .

 

Dr. Rebecca Taylor

Dr. Rebecca Taylor is a 2004 graduate of Marshall University and a 2009 graduate from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency in 2012 from Charleston Area Medical  . She is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Taylor sees pediatric patients under the age of 18. She joined staff in September 2020 and will direct pediatric services at Coalfield Health. Dr. Taylor will mentor medical students from multiple universities while at Coalfield Health  .

 

Elice Hinkle NP

Elice Hinkle is a 2013 graduate of WVU's Family Nurse Practitioner Program. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing   of the American Nurses Association. Elice joined Coalfield Health   in 2014. She is presently the chair of our quality committee. Elice provides services in family medicine, women's health, and DOT physicals.

 

Shenna Scott NP

Shenna Scott  is a 2014 graduate of Frontier University's Nurse Practitioner Program. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Shenna joined Coalfield Health   in 2019, and has a clinical background specific to pediatric care. Shenna provides services in family medicine with an emphasis on pediatric care.

 

Dena Barker NP

Dena Barker is a 2015 graduate of WVU's Family Nurse Practitioner Program. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Dena joined Coalfield Health   in 2022. Dena provides services in family medicine and women's health and is currently accepting new patients.

 

Jamie Brunetti NP

Jamie Brunetti is a 2012 graduate of Marshall University’s Family Nurse Practitioner Program.  She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing   of the American Nurses Association.  Jamie joined Coalfield Health   in 2022. Jamie serves the geriatric population who resides in assisted living facilities.

Traci Kramer, Licensed Independent Social Worker

Traci Kramer2018 graduate of State University of New York at Binghamton and has a Master’s Degree in Social Work.  Traci is board certified by the State of WV Board of Social Work.  Traci joined Coalfield Health   in 2022.  Traci serves patients of all ages by providing behavioral health counseling services when needed.

 

Caine Dials, Social Worker

Caine Dials is a 2006 graduate of West Virginia University and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.  Caine is board certified by the State of WV Board of Social Work.  Caine joined Coalfield Health   in 2022. Caine serves patients of all ages by providing behavioral health services when needed.  Caine is currently continuing his education to become a Licensed Independent Social Worker with expectations to graduate in 2023.
